Jeannie Benoist of Innovia Consulting LLC has the privilege to serve as the Organizational Change Management consultant supporting change and readiness for the Reimbursement System Project (RSP) with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) administers statewide programs that facilitate the provisioning of developmental services to California residents of all ages based on eligibility. DDS seeks reimbursement from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for eligible and qualifying services rendered to DDS consumers.
The Reimbursement System Project (RSP) is scoped to replace the legacy mainframe Federal Programs Information and Billing System (FPIBS) with FEI System’s Blue Compass platform. FEI System’s Blue Compass platform is an existing software solution with common built-in (Base) capabilities and the flexibility to meet specific DDS requirements via configurations and minor modifications. FEI Systems has a mature service hosting and service delivery infrastructure supporting more than 80 clients, 35 States, and multiple federal agencies, such as: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Administration for Community Living (ACL), Center for Disease Control & Prevention
The project is scheduled to be completed within two years, with a target system implementation of April 17, 2023.
